Cities aviv's Black Pleasure 2012, is an absolute treat. This project has many inspirations, but most of all it feels inspired by my bloody valentine, you can hear it in the production, and how the vocals are buried in the mix. It's very interesting to listen to, as it still is (experimental) could rap, just inspired by shoegaze and post punk. The sampling on this project is also absolutely amazing. My only gripe with this album is that sometimes Cities Aviv's great rapping is under the mix a little TOO much, which is unfortunate, because he genuinely offers great performances. I find it interesting that some of the samples are yet to be found, and sometimes when they are, they immediately get taken down. They have already taken down 3 songs off of Spotify, which is a shame because these are amazing.
